The MITC Process

MITC usually is an active team participant and participant in any proposals for contract opportunities it finds, creates a team, and submits (or facilitates the submission of) a proposal. The following describes the MITC PROCESS for different types of contracts:

GOVERNMENT WIDE ACQUISITION CONTRACTS (GWAC) INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACTS (ID/IQ)

MITC forms a joint venture with participant s) to pursue any contracts or task orders – including any issued under a GWAC or ID/IQ that MITC is the conduit. MITC does not have to be the Team Leader, but is always a participant of the joint-venture and is a co-respondent to any RFI/P/Q.

In any proposals submitted, it must detail that MITC assumes responsibility for contract management – including financial management of the contract (ensuring everyone gets paid on-time), team participant coordination, contract reporting, and compliance reporting. To participate on a team, each participant agrees to abide by this stipulation. Leader, but is always a participant of the joint-venture and is a co-respondent to any RFI/P/Q.

COMPETITIVE, SOLE SOURCE, and DIRECTED AWARD FEDERAL CONTRACTS

MITC forms a joint venture with participant s) to pursue any contracts it has identified, researched, and developed a response strategy or a team. MITC does not have to be the Team Leader, but is always a participant of the joint-venture and is a co-respondent to any RFI/P/Q. CONTRACTS AWARDS FROM MITC REFERRALS, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS, AND COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS

Where possible, MITC will provide contract management services – including contract and compliance reporting. For its work, MITC receives 3% of the actual revenues generated under each contract. To secure MITC support, or by requesting/accepting MITC direct assistance (business development or contract referral), each Participant agrees to abide by this stipulation. MITC is a consortium of small technology and professional services firms and HBCU/MI with a broad "bandwidth" of expertise and successful experience in Information Technology, Construction, Training, and other desirable professionals service areas. MITC member firms can provide services within the Continental US (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS).

MITC provides business development and other growth-related support services to technology and professional services firms, of all types and sizes, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority-Serving Institutions.
